Archangel Ancient Tree Archive, seeks out and chronicles the oldest, largest, genetically strongest giant sequoias and redwoods as well as other tree species around the world. They have broken the code to close a large number of these giants of the nature world, so that the genetics of these strongest of trees can live and thrive into the future. They also work in the area of assisted migration. In California, they have planted a redwood grove sourced from giant redwoods in the Presideo with a donation by the Green Earth Foundation. They have several other projects for planting trees on the west coast in efforts to rebuild the original forest habitat, They are also currently working on a mission to repopulate the eastern coastal areas with the genetics of the old growth trees from which they have sourced genetics. High Atlas supports agriculture initiatives that supply farmers with trees and medicinal plants and support the transition to more resilient, diversified food systems and economies. They are also active in collaborating with local government entities to help restore habitats eroded by either or a combination of fire, shifts to dryer climates, tree cutting in past years, or poor land management practices. At Corigin, they produce biochar and bio-oil products result in significant amounts of carbon permanently removed from atmosphere. Of the significant benefits of their products, the ability to save water in treated soil, and natural herbicides that present no harm to animal life are high on the list. Biochar remains in soils for thousands of years and our bio-oil is currently being pumped thousands of feet underground where it will remain forever. As a result, they will be in a position of offering carbon removal credits. If you have any agricultural use related to either efforts of water conservation or organic and non harmful herbicides, Tim can introduce you and encourages you to learn more about this seemingly simple array of product derivatives and yet profoundly helpful both economically and environmentally.
