Habitat Horticulture, very simply, designs and creates plantscapes that define & enrich the spaces we inhabit. They are masters at bringing to life living walls for urban environments, both outside and inside urban areas. Two showcases of their work are their contribution to the SF Moma Museum and the top floors of the Sales Force Tower. Sustainable design is at the forefront of their practice. They strive to incorporate locally native plants into each plant composition whenever possible that help support a diverse and resilient ecosystem. Being aware that water is our most precious resource—they design their systems to maximize each drop of water and use drought tolerant species whenever possible. They also recirculate and reuse water when the project allows, and can also use reclaimed grey-water and black water to maximize sustainable design. If you have a need for this design work, Tim would be glad to make the introduction for you. More at https://www.habitathorticulture.com/ .
